Whenever we buy a new product, or look to book a hotel, we always read reviews before making our purchase. We in turn, review things that we have found really useful or good value.

Here you will find details of all my reviews along with my review policy.  I only write about things that I feel are good or outstanding. I do not share reviews of anything less.

Most of my reviews are for things that we have purchased ourselves but sometimes, I receive products for review consideration – these will all be clearly marked to meet current ASA guidelines which is currently [AD: Gifted].

MY REVIEW POLICY

If you have something that you would like me to review, please read below to see my terms for accepting and reviewing, and have a look at my blogs to make sure that you like my style of writing.

I will consider reviewing items from the following categories, but do get in touch if you have different products or services that you feel will suit my readers:

• Home and garden
• Eco friendly products
• Art and gift items
• Subscription boxes
• Food, especially healthy and/or free from products
• Health and fitness
• Travel

I DO NOT accept book review requests as I prefer to review books that I have bought and loved myself.

Review or Not?
Please note that sending me something for review consideration does not guarantee a review. I will only publish a review if I love a product. If I don’t, I will be happy to provide feedback privately, but I am very much of the “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say it at all” mindset. I am also aware of just how much goes into creating a product or service, and just because something isn’t to my liking, it may be to someone else’s. It’s all down to personal taste and I am not here to criticise anyone.

Any gifted items will be disclosed according to ASA guidelines, currently AD: Gifted

Where I share

I publish all my recommendations on Tea and Cake for the Soul and associated social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  I add my posts to relevant Facebook groups where possible, and share them on my own personal pages. Travel related reviews are posted to Tripadvisor, Booking.com, and/or Hotels.com. Product reviews can also be posted to the manufacturer or seller’s own websites.

I can also provide Instagram only adverts with or without reviews.

Review posts are copyrighted to Tea and Cake for the Soul. Please do not duplicate in full elsewhere without prior consent. I am, of course, more than happy for you to publish a line or two excerpt providing it is linked back to the original review.
