Ad: Gifted – This item was gifted to me in exchange for a review but all words and thoughts are my own.
I came across these wonderful prints and cards from Rose Hurles Art recently and as Christmas is approaching I thought I’d share with you all as they’d make perfect gifts.
I was more than happy to show Rose Hurles Art some support as it is a relatively new venture and both her and her printers are small businesses. I know how important it is for new projects to get the word out and compete against the giants of industry.
Rose Hurles Art specialises in colourful fine art prints and cards. She paints with traditional media (mostly acrylics and watercolours), but the colourful ones are actually a mixture of traditional drawing and digital.
As someone who loves art but doesn’t have an ounce of talent, I asked Rose how she creates her artwork.
She replied: “The colourful series is hand drawn and I paint the first layer. Then it’s uploaded to a drawing tablet that simulates painting and sketching – just like in real life, but it’s digital. I build on the layers like I would in a real painting. It simulates the same pressure and brush strokes.”
I ordered a fine art print poster from Rose Hurles Art. It was despatched by Royal Mail in a heavy-duty cardboard tube to protect from any damage during transit. It arrived in perfect condition within a couple of days from placing my order. I have been assured that any Christmas orders will be despatched as a matter of urgency.
The paper is poster print quality with lovely bright crisp colours. I am now sourcing a frame so that I can hang my print in the bathroom and will update shortly with a photo of the finished result.
I have included some of my favourite images in this post but head over to the website to see the large selection of prints, posters and cards available.
Sadly Rose Hurles Art didn’t survive Covid and she had to shut the business down in July 2020. Such a shame.
I saw this on Facebook – very funky, I love her style! ♥

They’re lovely aren’t they. She just added some lovely beach hut ones to her collection over on Instagram.
