As music is one of my biggest passions, I am pleased to announce that I will now be featuring music-related interviews and stories here on Tea & Cake for the Soul. I have lots of new content to come but you can click on the blue text links below to access features that I’ve already published.
I will predominantly be showcasing underground music scenes that are vibrant and well-loved, but mostly ignored by mainstream media such as psychobilly, rockabilly, ska, northern soul, goth and punk.
This section will celebrate people who love and live music. Whether it is to your musical taste or not you will see that everyone plays a part in their respective scene and their passion for music is overwhelmingly obvious.

HAVE YOU GOT A STORY TO TELL?
If you want to appear in one of my musical features, and feel you’ve got an interesting story to tell with some cool photos to accompany it then please do CONTACT ME.
I’ve got lots of interviews lined up with musicians but I also want to feature the fans, DJs and promoters.
I’m particularly looking for some “My First Gig” stories, especially if you’re still into that band now. Or your story of how you got into an underground music scene, especially if you have clear photos of yourself or the gig at the time. Or maybe your love of music has led you into a musical career or creative roll inspired by music.
If so please get in touch.
