A trip to the City doesn’t have to be expensive, and there are actually many free attractions including museums, art galleries, parks and walks as well as general sightseeing.
Now whilst it isn’t free, I highly recommend a trip on an open top bus. It’s a great way to find your bearings around London and the commentary is both amusing and informative. Your fee will let you go round as many times as you want (some have different routes) and often include extra services such as a free river boat cruise and free walking tours. You can use it as your mode of transport to visit other attractions.
There are several companies, such as The Original Tour, Big Bus Tours and Hop on Hop Off, so just see which one is offering the best deals and check out Quidco and Topcashback as they both tend to have cashback offers which will make your trip even cheaper.
If using other booking agents you can also sign up to Topcashback or Quidco to earn cashback on your stays. You may get an introductory gift depending on current offers, and I may get a referral credit if you reach a certain spend.
